Our restaurant has an indoor area and the outdoor terrace, where to enjoy Ibiza’s great climate in a relaxed but elegant atmosphere, designed exclusively for the comfort of our customers. Without a doubt, the heart of the hotel and a pleasant meeting point for both visitors and residents.
Mediterranean cuisine, creative cuisine and, above all, the product, is the essence conveyed by Chef Albert Morán, with a cuisine based on local and Mediterranean products that mix classic recipes creatively, incorporating new techniques and flavors from other cultures. The quality of the ingredients and familiar flavors predominate, above all, in some delicate proposals and prepared according to the norms that the great kitchen of always dictates. The multicultural fusion of its dishes tells stories and gastronomic experiences acquired in its international trajectory. The aromas and textures accompany the authentic taste of the final product, with a cellar that harmonizes our dishes.
The bar offers a cocktail menu that includes the classics, as well as more modern combinations created by our maitre Antonio Rodríguez. We also have a wide variety of wines, champagnes, and cavas, from multiple vintages and certificate of origin designed for a perfect pairing of our menu.
About our chef, Alberto Morán
Alberto Morán bases his vision and gastronomic concept on the fusion of the different flavors of the world. His mission is to transmit all his experience and knowledge, acquired during his personal and professional career, over a period of fifteen years spread between New York, Mexico, Canada and Spain.
In his recipes highlights the flavour, the colours and a careful presentation. The combination of the different ingredients results in a surprising proposal which supposes a real enjoyment, as well as a trip for the senses.
Madrilenian parents, born and raised in Ibiza, decided to leave the island at the early age of seventeen to follow his true vocation and go to study cuisine in New York where he spends three and a half years at the prestigious school Le CordonBleu (NY & Paris). During this period in his life, he works on his thesis, Gastronomic History and Food Chemistry.
His next step will take him to Mexico, where he graduates in Business Administration from the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP).
In Mexico he will end up spending six years, in Playa del Carmen first, where he learns the secrets of Caribbean and coastal cuisine, and in the city of Puebla later. This last journey is key in his professional development as he has the opportunity and the privilege of learning authentic Mexican cuisine from the nuns of the Convent of Santa Clara. During this period, he also has his own cooking program on television (El Arte del Sabor, Televisa) and publishes a book of the same name.
Once he finishes his years of study and work he moves to Canada for two years, always in the kitchen and eager to continue learning and training. Back in Spain he spens two years as head of F&B of a hotel group in Tenerife. This period will serve to absorb extensive knowledge of Canarian cuisine.
Finally, after fifteen years of training and adventures around the world, Alberto decides to return to his native island. Seduced by the captivating and wonderful project, he becomes part of Safragell Ibiza Suites & Spa as chef and head of F&B.
